New projects

This is an embroidery work I did on Rebekah's skirt. I really loved doing it because it didn't take very long and when I was done with the art on it... it was done (as apposed to having to finish a quilt when you have finished decorating a block). I got the pattern from a challenge that was done on one of the Crazy Quilting groups that I belong to. It was so much fun and I finished it in a few hours that I am sure I am going to do many more for her. She thinks that skirts are for princesses and so when I put them on her she says, "Princess dress!" She is my sweet princess!
This isn't the best picture but it is the block I am doing for my first Round Robin. A RR is when you make a block and then mail it to someone else who signed up for your particular RR and that person decorates your block a little and then sends it to someone else- who decorates it some more. In the meantime I will be decorating their blocks. A total of 5 women are in my "Anything Goes Newbies" Round Robin. So within 5 months 5 women will have decorated this block and I will have decorated a little on each of theirs. Yup, I am so enjoying this hobby!
