Had to drag my kids out in their bear feet to see this remarkable change of the seasons. Joseph is right now learning about the seasons in his reading so the timing is perfect. This is our Apricot tree that we bought last year. This is actually the first time I have seen it's buds because it was green when we bought it. I am so happy. I have always wanted to own my own Apricot tree and Peach tree (check further down for a pic of our peach tree). I am so happy that spring is finally here and we can get on with the warm weather.

Hello From Seattle,
Spring is coming here, too, or at least teasing us. We have crocuses in bloom. Love your princess quilt!
BTW, we have a Jon and Wendy in our family, too....only they have Matthew!
Happy Spring and Happy Stitching!
Hi Again,
Thanks for visiting my blog and your nice comments. I do know what you mean about sewing for girls versus boys...not to sound sexist or anything! ;) Girls are much easier until they become label conscious....at least mine were. My little grandson loves hats, so I've knit lots of them, and he's OK with sweaters so far. And Sophia is still too young to have much of an opinion, but I'm so happy to have another little girl to make stuff for.
So, where in the desert do you live? We used to live in San Diego, and even after 30 some years, I still miss that climate a lot, especially when we've gone weeks without seeing the sun. The past few days, since we got home actually, the weather's been great...a little chilly but sunny and I love that.
Have a great Sunday.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment...so I could follow you here!
Great that you are starting crazy quilting...
...and fruit trees too!
