Easter Sunday!!! It is such a huge deal to us. The kids have decorated eggs, hid and found them several times, and received their Easter baskets. I made Rebekah's Easter dress (something that is becoming a tradition). I wanted to make a children's version of the dress worn by Katie Stam when she won the Miss America pageant this year. It had come along well until the lace beyond the length of the skirt. In despare I simply cut the lace short but to my rescue was Melissa who had the perfect fabric and creativity to know what to do. On Thursday I went to her house to work on Rebekah's quilt and she finished it for me. Thank you so much Melissa!!! Joseph is very picky and we had a hard time finding a new Easter outfit but this baseball shirt suits him very well. Hopefully he will get over the shorts that I bought and will wear them sometime in the summer. hahaIn the top picture we are visiting my sister Esther and doing even more egg decorating and hunting and chocolate eating. And in the lower picture is Rebekah headed out our door on our way to church with her new fairy and basket.

WOW now seeing the photo of her dress...it looks like a good version of it! The addition was way way perfect even the slit with scalloping edge! I'm glad I got to help! It means a lot to me!
Oh, so pretty! That dress is so Rebekah, isn't it? She's such a girly girl! :)
