Shopping for Esther

This was Saturday as we shopped for Esther's wedding dress and her bridesmaid's dresses. Here is Esther striking a pose for the camera at the resteraunt. What a beautiful bride she is going to be.
Marlena, Katelynn, and Robyn- my beautiful nieces were good as gold the whole time. Bridesmaid's Gavreille and maid of honor/sister Angelena. Talking it up at Chili's. They are really great girls. Esther couldn't have asked for better friends.
Our sister Catherine. Catherine and I are kind of like the stabilizers for our siblings. We have our difference, sure, but none are big enough to divide our team effort to be there for our siblings. I can't say enough good about her. She puts herself aside for the sake of her kids and siblings. She tries so hard to be there for all of us. Even though she is 18 months younger than me, we lean on each other for strength, we give each other our thoughts for our siblings, we rely on each other for friendship and direction. We support each other with understanding from our past and defending each others decisions for our futures. We go through many of the same challenges in situations in life and we help each other sort out the chaos. I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through many things in my life without her. Even this beautiful day of rejoicing for Esther there was tension with someone and Catherine came in with her giving heart and helped me through. She just shows on up with her beautiful self. I love my sisters all sooooo much. Thank you so much Catherine for all the love you have and for all you are. You truly are a special friend and I love you just the way you are.

Wendy: you are SO lucky to have your sisters. I always wished for a sister. Asked for one every Christmas and Mum would say "Honey, you have to ask a little earlier for something like that for Christmas!" I have one brother but he is 12 yrs old than I am and we only became close after we were both married and had kids. In a way my 3 daughters who are all now grown are sort of like sisters I guess. I love how close they are to each other and envy them that.
