I embroidered: when I could.

I first want to thank you all for praying for me. I don't know quite yet if I am getting better but the last two days have been slightly better for me. I am wondering if it is because I have been working on getting more sleep. Lately I have been getting 4 hours straight. Such a relief!!! I have just finished my work on Lindy's block (above). I was very excited to get this one because Lindy does so much for everyone. So I really wanted to do something special. We missed one girl in our RR so I needed to do as much as possible. I added the lady on the left with all the silk roses in her arm and at her feet. I also added some butterflies in front of her face, a tea cup, some pink beads, and at the bottom a pretty white and gold button. I really want to do more but they are waiting for this block. I am actually almost done with Deborah's Princess block as well since I got them at the same time. I am going to send them to Lindy together too. Then Lindy will finish Deborah's and send it on to her.
So this is my sister Deborah's block. I have 4 sisters and we are all making a quilt for ourself and having the sisters decorate it for us. Her quilt is so beautiful, full of blacks and purples. I added the motif at the center bottom, the eyelash thread, ribbon, and beads and then some more beads to her seam treatment on the top. Below is a close up of the motif.

This is my finished work on my sister Esther's block. I did the beaded butterfly (scroll through the next pictures to see a close up) and the ferns and bullrushes near the lower, right, blue triangle. Below is a close up of the lower part.
